Code Basics

We will now begin stepping through the basics of code and logic.

This is a long journey and an important one! After stepping through code basics you will be able to solve tons of problems including a bunch of real world ones! You will also be able to create some cool stuff to show to your friends and family and you will start to feel a sense of accomplishment and confidence that you can really use programming as a useful tool.

Remember to relax. Code can be stressful and frustrating but we are going to work through it together and try to make it as painless as possible. You probably won't understand everything the first time and you probably won't solve ever problem the first time.

The important thing to remember is just to keep calm and understand that in time it will come, just like every skill. You are at the stage now that you just need hours-- just need exposure to code and experience thinking about things in a logical way like a programmer.

You are so much farther than so many people out there just for getting this far. So many people want a good job or want to learn a new skill but never take the first step or if they did they give up after the introductions are done. I am proud of you for sticking with it this far and good luck going further! It's going to get fun. I promise.
